Additionally, it comes with 4 seed plates and gears for different seeds and spacing, along with a fertilizer hopper for added convenience. The MultiFlex design ensures consistent depth control, while the Deep V seed opener promotes fast germination and uniform planting. For one-row setups, the Cole 12MX Multiplex features a three-point hitch compatible with Cat. 1 tractors. Its sturdy frame and mounting prevent twisting or swaying, ensuring straight rows and precise planting. The feed wheel plays a crucial role in seed metering, as seeds pass through a hole in the seed plate controlled by the diameter size of the hole, regulating the amount of seed flow. Each drill comes with three seed plates, each containing 13 holes, providing a total of 39 seed flow adjustments ranging in diameter from 3/32" to 3/4". The holes are conveniently numbered for easy selection, and no calibration is necessary between drills. Additionally, seed plates can be changed easily without the need for fitted tools.
