The ability to open the soil surface with minimal disturbance and to fracture and loosen the soil profile to allow water and oxygen infiltration and enhanced root growth, makes the Zone Commander unique. The Zone Commander concept lays the foundation for numerous follow-up tillage practices. These models are equipped to handle heavy residue and rugged conditions with large diameter lead coulters and heavy-duty shank assemblies. Versatility is built-in with the choice of auto-reset or rigid shear bolt shank assemblies and the choice of straight leg shanks, parabolic shanks or low disturbance shanks.
