Special seed plates for multi-row setups are also available for added versatility. Power from the front wheel ensures a constant flow of seeds by turning the feed wheel in the hopper. The feed wheel plays a crucial role in seed metering, as seeds pass through a hole in the seed plate controlled by the diameter size of the hole, regulating the amount of seed flow. Each drill comes with three seed plates, each containing 13 holes, providing a total of 39 seed flow adjustments ranging in diameter from 3/32" to 3/4". The holes are conveniently numbered for easy selection, and no calibration is necessary between drills. Additionally, seed plates can be changed easily without the need for fitted tools.
