MKE MAGNUM RAKES

he standard version has rake wheels with a diameter of 55” (1.4m) and tines with a diameter of 0.28” (7mm). As an alternative, and with no changes to the machine structure needed, it is possible to mount optional rake wheels with a diameter of 60’’ (1.52m) and tines with a diameter of 0.3” (7.5 mm). Each wheel, regardless of the diameter, is equipped with 40 tines made of top-quality spring steel. A lever acting on a sprocket equipped with a locking mechanism enables the width of the swath to be adjusted easily and rapidly from about 3’ (0.91 m) to 6’ (1.8 m). Alternatively, this function can be performed by an optional hydraulic device enabling the adjustment of the swath directly from the tractor.

McFarlane's Mounted Harrows fit virtually all makes and models of field cultivators. They are designed for 3" and 4" rear tool bars (special mounts are available upon request). They offer an adjustable pull point for varying heights/conditions. Sections are suspended with hardened chain to allow full flotation and maximum flexibility for residue clearance. Teeth are on 9" centers to prevent sections from plugging in heavy residue. Includes heavy wall harrow pipe (1.90” OD & 145" wall) for 5-bar option.

It features a 12" diameter basket with eight ¼"x 1¼" high-carbon bars and new maintenance free hubs. The attachment is spring-adjustable down pressure for varying soil conditions and types for optimum performance. The double rolling baskets oscillate to follow field contours. Packages with sections feature our FH series open end flexible harrows.

Damp fields can be aerated and dried in a single pass and chemicals are incorporated to recommended depths. The soil can be conditioned, breaking down clods and separating small and large-size particles for excellent seed-to-soil contact.
