The KIRCHNER SWATH FLUFFER efficiently lifts and fluffs hay, grain, or other crops, allowing air to circulate underneath for faster drying or curing. This reduces the time between cutting, baling, and harvesting. With a 128-tooth reel turning at a slower RPM than the tires, the fluffer gently picks up, lifts, and releases the swath without causing damage to the crop. The fluffed swath can be shifted up to 18 inches to the left or right by angling the basket, placing it on drier ground for quicker drying. This adjustment can be made at speeds of up to 12 MPH for added efficiency. Reel speed is easily controlled via a flow control valve on the tractor. The 3-point operation allows the entire machine to be raised for transport or turning, while the pull hitch attachment enables operation with a drawbar tractor or towing with a truck. Originally designed to fluff rained-on swaths, KIRCHNER SWATH FLUFFERS have become essential in many haying and harvesting operations, offering faster and superior results.
