With a 128-tooth reel turning at a slower RPM than the tires, the fluffer gently picks up, lifts, and releases the swath without causing damage to the crop. The fluffed swath can be shifted up to 18 inches to the left or right by angling the basket, placing it on drier ground for quicker drying. This adjustment can be made at speeds of up to 12 MPH for added efficiency. Reel speed is easily controlled via a flow control valve on the tractor. The 3-point operation allows the entire machine to be raised for transport or turning, while the pull hitch attachment enables operation with a drawbar tractor or towing with a truck.
