McFarlane's Mounted Harrows fit virtually all makes and models of field cultivators. They are designed for 3" and 4" rear tool bars (special mounts are available upon request). They offer an adjustable pull point for varying heights/conditions. Sections are suspended with hardened chain to allow full flotation and maximum flexibility for residue clearance. Teeth are on 9" centers to prevent sections from plugging in heavy residue. Includes heavy wall harrow pipe (1.90” OD & 145" wall) for 5-bar option.

The Cole Planet Jr. boasts an array of features designed to facilitate precise and efficient seed metering in continuous drill applications, accommodating hard-to-handle seeds such as tomatoes, onions, sugar beets, cabbage, lettuce, spinach, and more. Special seed plates for multi-row setups are also available for added versatility. Power from the front wheel ensures a constant flow of seeds by turning the feed wheel in the hopper. The feed wheel plays a crucial role in seed metering, as seeds pass through a hole in the seed plate controlled by the diameter size of the hole, regulating the amount of seed flow. Each drill comes with three seed plates, each containing 13 holes, providing a total of 39 seed flow adjustments ranging in diameter from 3/32" to 3/4". The holes are conveniently numbered for easy selection, and no calibration is necessary between drills. Additionally, seed plates can be changed easily without the need for fitted tools. Furthermore, the Cole Planet Jr. features 4" of float, thanks to its cradle bracket, allowing the drill to float a full 4" up and down. This unique spring suspension system enables each drill to independently follow the contours of the ground, ensuring uniform seed depth for optimal planting results.
