The Cole 12MX Multiplex offers a range of features tailored for precision planting and fertilization across various acreages and garden sizes. Available in 1, 2, and 4 rows, it caters to small plots as well as larger fields. Its split-rim, concave cast iron presswheel creates a firm seedbed while leaving a loose zone directly over seeds. Equipped with a Gravity-Drop Hopper, this planter eliminates seed damage and accurately places 34 to 650 lbs of fertilizer per acre with adjustable rate control. Additionally, it comes with 4 seed plates and gears for different seeds and spacing, along with a fertilizer hopper for added convenience. The MultiFlex design ensures consistent depth control, while the Deep V seed opener promotes fast germination and uniform planting. For one-row setups, the Cole 12MX Multiplex features a three-point hitch compatible with Cat. 1 tractors. Its sturdy frame and mounting prevent twisting or swaying, ensuring straight rows and precise planting. For two-row configurations, complete units consist of a quality 2 ½" diamond bar with Cat. 1 hitch, mounting brackets, and 2 12MX planting/fertilizing units. Sturdy mounting brackets with blocks and U-bolts prevent swaying or tilting, guaranteeing straight rows for optimal crop growth. Similarly, four-row setups feature a quality 2 ½" X 144" diamond bar with Cat. 1 hitch, mounting brackets, and 4 12MX planting/fertilizing units. This provides a state of the art machine with a quick transition from road transport to a 36’ seeding width. One of the key features of the 4630-36 is the ability of the main frame to allow each of the three seeders to operate completely independently of each other. The individual, frame mounted three-point hitches raise and lower the seeders without changing the position of the main frame.

McFarlane's Mounted Harrows fit virtually all makes and models of field cultivators. They are designed for 3" and 4" rear tool bars (special mounts are available upon request). They offer an adjustable pull point for varying heights/conditions. Sections are suspended with hardened chain to allow full flotation and maximum flexibility for residue clearance. Teeth are on 9" centers to prevent sections from plugging in heavy residue. Includes heavy wall harrow pipe (1.90” OD & 145" wall) for 5-bar option.

The Cole Planet Jr. boasts an array of features designed to facilitate precise and efficient seed metering in continuous drill applications, accommodating hard-to-handle seeds such as tomatoes, onions, sugar beets, cabbage, lettuce, spinach, and more. Special seed plates for multi-row setups are also available for added versatility. Power from the front wheel ensures a constant flow of seeds by turning the feed wheel in the hopper. The feed wheel plays a crucial role in seed metering, as seeds pass through a hole in the seed plate controlled by the diameter size of the hole, regulating the amount of seed flow. Each drill comes with three seed plates, each containing 13 holes, providing a total of 39 seed flow adjustments ranging in diameter from 3/32" to 3/4". The holes are conveniently numbered for easy selection, and no calibration is necessary between drills. Additionally, seed plates can be changed easily without the need for fitted tools. Furthermore, the Cole Planet Jr. features 4" of float, thanks to its cradle bracket, allowing the drill to float a full 4" up and down. This unique spring suspension system enables each drill to independently follow the contours of the ground, ensuring uniform seed depth for optimal planting results.

Primarily used after the seeder operation is complete and the mulch is blown on, the Seedbed Mulch Tucker helps anchor the mulch into the seedbed while enhancing seed to soil contact. This operation is often mandated by many federal, state and municipal seeding jobs. The Seedbed MulchrnTucker is available in 6 and 8 foot sizes and can be ordered with just the Tucker assembly or with both the Tucker and Pulverizer assemblies.

Designed from customer input on interseeding and overseeding, the Brillion Till ‘N Seed will seed into existing turf and pasture seedings. The front drive rotor engages the soil and drives the tillage rotor nearly two times faster, mixing the seed into the soil. A floating firming roller covers and closes the seeding process. The seed depth will vary with the density of the soil and/or number of seeding passes. The unique ground drive system and self-cleaning rotor design separate the Till ‘N Seed from the rest of the competition.

TURF SEEDERS

The five and six foot LSP and LSS Landscape Seeders have been developed from a long line of very successful seeders. These units use blade agitator seed meters that will seed a wide varietyrnof landscape seeds. The three inch meter spacing provides excellent distribution of seed across the full width of the seeder. The five and six foot LSP models are three-point hitch only. The six foot LSS model comes standard with both a three-point hitch and a skid loader adaptor plate for use on most skid loaders. Various options allow these seeders to be adapted to specialty seeding as required.
