The Brillion Flail Shredder has quality built in from the ground up. The 180 HP rated gear box is rugged enough to handle large horsepower tractors. Power from the gear box is transmitted to the dynamically balanced rotors via a matched set of three v-belts on each side of the machine for smooth and vibration free operation. Different knife styles are available; side slice, cup knives or a combination of both will provide different results in different crops. Primarily used for chopping corn residue after harvest, the Flail Shredder is also used for mowing waterways, clipping pastures and in unique topping operations in some specialty crops.
