Michael Hoeppner was born in Hillsboro, Oregon. However, in 1987 his family relocated to Rio Rancho, New Mexico where he grew and eventually graduated from Cibola High School in 1998. Throughout childhood Michael was very active in his family and enjoyed extreme skiing which eventually turned into a love of snowboarding. In 1991 Michael’s mom won a brand new ford Taurus. His parents decided they did not need the additional vehicle, so it was sold and ands the family acquired a 19 foot Bayliner, appropriately named Taurus 2. Most of Michael best memories with his family were spent water skiing, tubing, knee boarding and fishing at Navajo lake and Elephant Butte state park. Family trips also included a 2-month summer trip of driving 9500 miles across every state in the U.S. and another 2-month trip to Spain in 1993 to visit foreign exchange students that lived with them.
Michael has been pursuing a degree in the healthcare field. Michael quotes “My passion is to let everybody feel cared about no matter the situation, and to keep them having a smile on their face”. His purpose for learning is to show his 4 boys- Koen 9, Vincent 8, Brody 4 and Axel 4, the importance of knowing no matter what age that learning is never- ending and is always important. This soon to be single father of his four boys, keeps himself busy with just that, his four boys. From parks to swimming to parkour to basketball to preschool runs and elementary school runs. He is fortunate to still have a head on his shoulders. Michael’s boys are his everything, every chance he has to be with them is spent to the fullest, family movie night, fort building, game playing, geocaching, bike riding. Baking and building are a few of the thing this father of boys love to do with them
Michael highly enjoys the time he spends at church and the volunteering that comes with it. “Having a second Family is a blessing when times are tough and you need additional support”. Michael states. Whether leading singing time to young primary children to teaching investigators basic principles. Michael’s passion is again showing care for all, while injecting humor.
Michaels farming experience, consists of his garden hoe and pack of $.89 seeds from Lowes. However Michael has never found anything more therapeutic than being out in nature, planting a garden, mowing the lawn or even pulling weeds. “Taking a moment out of each day to take in the beauty all around us, in utter silence, brings a spirit of calm and relaxation, (besides a really good massage)
